Jane Day

Today was a good day connecting with an old friend.  It has taken us these two lunches to laugh like we used to do.  The comfort of an old, and older friend...sorry Jane, you really don't seem older, is that we connected then and we connect again now.  Our rhythms have slowed, but it is good to remind each other that this diet battle has been going on post 1/4 century,  the crazy relatives have and always will be with us, and that some of us even created more to go along the way.  I love my days with friends who knew me when I was just me.  What I love most about Jane is she reminds me of what I have always been...a little bit crazy, a little bit rock 'n roll!!!  Thanks Jane for a great lunch, an enduring and continuing friendship, and a day in the sun!!
